Country Western line dance lessons and
instruction presented by Gloria and Haines Fay are the result of
fifteen years of dancing and teaching experience at all levels in 40
different states. The Fays left
Bellingham
upon retirement in 1992 and began dancing their way across the
country at dozens of RV resorts including nearly all of the dozens
of Thousand Trails parks. During a four-year teaching booking at
Verde Valley,
Arizona north of Phoenix, and another six-year engagement at
Riverview Resort in Bullhead City south of Las Vegas, they came to
know many of the foremost choreographers and instructors in the U.S.
and Canada. Attending many of the rallies each year enabled them to
collect hundreds of music numbers and thousands of dance step sheets
which came into popularity as line dancing evolved and developed.
Gloria and Haines will feature their top favorites among the hits
when their classes begin at Whatcom in mid-January.
The Fays
recently returned to Bellingham after a two-season run at the
Riverside Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. Their twice weekly
programs over the past two years helped earn two annual honors for
the “Lightning Strikes” Ballroom at the Riverside as the best place
to dance in the Southwest.
