Jody Finnegan retired
from engineering in 2003 after spending 12 years working in a
variety of areas including environmental consulting, petroleum
engineering and design, materials research and project
management. She purchased 12th Street Shoes in 2003. Under her
ownership the store in Fairhaven has doubled in size and a
second location opened in March of this year. Jody holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Masters of Science in Material Science and Engineering. Both degrees were received at the University of Washington. She is also a former certified Project Manager. Jody is on the Board of the Fairhaven Merchants Association and is a member of the National Shoe Retailers Association. In her free time, Jody volunteers as a tutor for the Whatcom Literacy Council. She also loves to travel with her husband, Brian, and enjoys playing ball with Bailey, her Jack Russell Terrier. |
