Lisa Holt

Knitting Instructor

With a Master's Degree in Education and over a decade of intense study and practice in the art and craft of knitting, Lisa Holt is uniquely qualified as a knitting instructor. She strives to create a warm, encouraging and enthusiastic atmosphere in her classes while providing students with the skills they need to become independent-minded knitters. Her enduring curiosity for knitting has led her to try a wide variety of techniques within the craft, and has earned her blue ribbons at the Northwest Washington Fair.

Lisa has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Puget Sound and M.Ed. in Education from Western Washington University. She is a member of Spindrifters, the local chapter of the Northwest Regional Spinners Association (for handspinning).

Lisa lives in Bellingham with her husband and two young children. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, handspinning, reading and gardening (usually in that order).
