Sharon Van Sinderen Lyon has
traveled to Africa over 20 times in the last eleven years. Her experiences
range from 60 days in the Serengeti to three separate
trips in four months to East Africa, West Africa Slave Trade
Routes, Swaziland, Malawi, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and
Uganda. She has spotted over 3000 lions, 300 cheetahs, 250 leopards, and
more elephants, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife than one can
count! Sharon graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Art Education. Sharon is active in her church and believes in giving back, leaving the world a better place, and helping others. Mission trips to Africa balance out the various activities in which she is involved. Sharon has many friends all around the world--some new, some long term--and communicates regularly with most in and out of her travels. |
