Dal Neitzel has been creating various programs on film and video for the past 40 years. Although the bulk of his work has been in the science and adventure documentary field, he has also produced other formats, including cooking shows, college and professional sports, news and lifestyle magazine shows, talk shows, adventure shows, game shows, opera, plays for TV, instructional programming, interactive multi-media, music video and many others. Additionally, Dal continues to be an active cinematographer, scriptwriter and production manager for other producers. He has worked as an independent producer and also as a staff producer, director and writer for various production companies. His work has appeared on CNN, PBS, Turner Broadcasting Network, BBC, National Geographic Television, ABC, The Discovery Channel, CBS and others.

Dal holds a BLS from Bowling Green State University and is a member of the Director's Guild of America and the Washington Association of Telecommunication Officers and Advisors

In his spare time Dal enjoys photography, travel and writing. The camera provides him with both a focus and a motivation to walk and hike wherever he visits.
