Dani Riggs

Tai Chi Instructor and Psychotherapist


 


 
 
  Dani Riggs has been teaching Tai Chi for 20 years and practicing Tai chi for 24 years. He began his study with Sifu Fong Ha of Berkeley, California, a Master of Tai Chi with over 50 years of experience. Dani believes that Tai Chi is a gift with many benefits ranging from greater health to a grounding in the Martial Arts.

Dani has studied Tai Chi and related fields with many teachers. He is a graduate of the University of California at Davis with a Masters Degree in the Psychology and Philosophy of Education. He is President Emeritus of the Jungian Psychotherapist Association and a Diplomat Member of the American Psychotherapist Association. He brings all of his studies into the teaching of Tai Chi.

Dani lives in Bellingham with his wife, Dr. Anne Saarheim-Riggs. When not teaching or at his private psychotherapy practice, he enjoys sailing, kayaking, golf, and walks on the wonderful trails of Whatcom County. He also plays guitar and sings.
