Dani Riggs has
been teaching Tai Chi for 20 years and practicing Tai chi for 24 years.
He began his study with Sifu Fong Ha of Berkeley, California, a
Master of Tai Chi with over 50 years of experience. Dani believes that
Tai Chi is a gift with many benefits ranging from greater health to
a grounding in the Martial Arts.Dani has studied Tai Chi and related
fields with many teachers. He is a graduate of the University of
California at Davis with a Masters Degree in the Psychology and
Philosophy of Education. He is President Emeritus of the Jungian Psychotherapist Association and a Diplomat Member of the American Psychotherapist Association. He brings all of his studies into the
teaching of Tai Chi.
Dani lives in Bellingham with his wife, Dr. Anne Saarheim-Riggs. When
not teaching or at his private psychotherapy practice, he enjoys sailing,
kayaking, golf, and walks on the wonderful trails of Whatcom County. He
also plays guitar and sings.
