As a teacher, Doug Salmon enjoys
providing an educational environment that both
challenges and motivates his students. Without the proper stimulus,
he believes students either will not learn or will not achieve their full
potential.
Doug believes that
experience in strength and conditioning is beneficial not only to
intercollegiate athletes but to any individual seeking to improve overall
fitness. His expertise lies in the ability to demonstrate and explain the
physiology, modes,
and methods of exercise. He has many years of experience in
teaching and coaching men and women in their personal workouts.
Doug holds a Masters of Science Degree in Physical
Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is
certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the
National Strength and Conditioning Association, of which he is
also a member.
Doug's leisure time interests include working
out and the study of strength and how if applies to fitness improvement.
