Greg Sutphen is well
known as an expert local saltwater fisherman and has been fishing local
waters for over forty years. Greg has caught over 20 fish in the state
class record range in Washington State, and is regarded by his
friends as an excellent resource for fishing local saltwater species.
Greg studied marine biology, marine technology, and marine geology at the
University of Washington. He is a past member of SOS (Save our Salmon), Trout
unlimited, and other fish and fish enhancement groups.
Greg comes from a family of well-known fishermen. His
grandfather was director of Fish and Game for the State of Montana for
over 30 years. His grandmother was one of the country's
best women fly fishers of her time, traveling the national circuit in
fly-casting competitions. Greg spends a lot of
his spare time fishing and teaching others the joy of fishing.
