Ken Wilcox is author
and publisher of several Northwest Washington hiking guides, as well as
a book on the native forests of Chile, with several more books currently
in the works. In his street shoes, he works as an environmental planning
consultant in Bellingham.Ken attended Everett Community College
followed by
Western Washington University, where he earned a B.S. in
Environmental Policy from Huxley College.
Ken has been hiking, climbing, skiing, and
kayaking in the Pacific Northwest and beyond for the past 25 years,
including extensive roaming throughout the San Juans and Whidbey Island.
He also enjoys foreign travel, and volunteers often to help protect our
parks and wilderness areas.
