Saint Francis Extended Health Care  "Last
year we decided to provide Leadership Training to employees of St.
Francis Extended Health Care. We chose to use Whatcom Community
College as our primary contract training provider because Whatcom is
able to provide a very high caliber of training and education,
tailored to our needs, for a very reasonable price. The instructors
from Whatcom are extremely knowledgeable but they maintain an accessible
format that is appropriate for the wide variety of people we have on
staff. Additionally, the instructors have been very flexible, which
is key when scheduling classes for people who provide care
around-the-clock. But the real advantage is in the results! The
classes were so popular, successful, and results-oriented last year,
that we have decided to repeat them this year in order to reach more
of our staff members. The feedback, and the post-tests, point to
very positive outcome from these classes. I encourage anyone
interested in high quality, low-cost, flexible educational
opportunities to explore Whatcom Community College."
