Ink Stone – the larger the better, at least 2 ½’’ x 4 ½’’

Black liquid ink

Student quality Asian paper is fine.  I like mulberry and yuan,

but any kind of Asian paper has its own interesting qualities.

I will have newsprint available at no charge for practice: however you will also need to bring some form of Asian or Sumi paper as well.

Small smooth rag and a few paper towels

Paperweights—small rocks work well
