Basic student needs…

Set of Pottery Tools available at Whatcom bookstore, Dakota Art on Cornwall or Western’s bookstore ($10-$15). It should include: a sponge, a needle tool, loop and ribbon tools for trimming, a scraper, a rib, a cut off wire, a wood tool

 Plastic grocery bags work well for keeping pieces moist and old pillow case or tee shirt is great for slow even drying

bullet

 An apron or smock is advisable (optional)

 You will also need brushes for glazing for the latter sessions.
