 (3) Photographs.. One straight on shot, one ¾ shot and one direct profile shot of your subject if doing a portrait and any others that will give you ideas or information for your project.

 Tools…any tools or other instruments that might be used to sculpt with.

 Apron (optional)

 Sandpaper (one sheet is enough)

 Brushes—large soft brushes for finish of your piece (we will be using slip for our finish instead of glaze)

 (2) Plastics grocery bags to cover your work to keep it moist.

Dakota Art on Cornwall Avenue in Bellingham carries the “Art Alternatives” brand pottery tool kit. It contains 7 tools for $13.55, so if you don’t already have sculpting tools this will cover all you will need for a very reasonable price.

The last day of the workshop will be pick up and critique.
