Bonjour! Are you

about French language and culture? In this enjoyable yet
intensive class, you will develop basic conversational skills
such as greeting people, ordering food, shopping, making hotel
reservations, asking for directions and more! You will also
learn essential principles of pronunciation and grammar.
Instructor Anne George, a native Parisian, is an experienced
instructor who enjoys teaching French at all levels. Required

A continuation
of French I or for those with an intermediate conversational
French background. Join instructor and native speaker Anne
George for further exploration of the language and culture of

Conversation et Culture: Visa pour la France |
This course is
for people who have a background in French, as well as those
once fluent wishing to brush up on their skills. Conducted
entirely in French, class will include discussions on cultural
topics, films, and current events. Pronunciation exercises and
grammar review (when needed) will be integrated into
conversation activities. Instructor Anne George is an

Spanish I: Beginning |
| Learn basic
conversational skills to communicate with Spanish-speaking
people in a playful, relaxed, and informal atmosphere. You will
begin to acquire listening and speaking skills as you practice
greetings, introductions, numbers, telling time, shopping
transactions, and other everyday words and phrases. All course
materials are included in course fee; no textbook required. You
will also be introduced to the use of verbs and adjectives in
this first step toward mastering the language. Section A does
not meet May 26. About our Spanish Instructors:
Ashleigh Bobovski has taught language
the past seven years. She has lived and studied in Spain and has
an M.A. in teaching. Her enthusiasm for the Spanish language and
cultures is contagious!
Elizabeth Stuart has been teaching for
the past three years. Her passion for Spanish and learning about
Spanish-speaking cultures has carried her to Honduras, Ecuador,
Costa Rica, Mexico, and Spain.

Spanish II: Beyond Beginning |
If you have
completed our Spanish I course or have prior Spanish language
experience, then this class is your next step. In a relaxed
atmosphere you will continue practicing the present tense as you
increase your vocabulary and fluency in conversation through
class participation and exercises. Instructor Elizabeth Stuart
will challenge you to put your Spanish into action so be ready
to participate and have fun! All course materials are included
in course fee; no textbook required.

Spanish III: Advanced Beginning |
A continuation
of Spanish II, this course is for those with an intermediate
conversational Spanish background who wish to increase their
comprehension and speaking abilities. Class activities and
assignments will focus on further mastery of verb tenses and
vocabulary in a playful and relaxed atmosphere. Instructor
Elizabeth Stuart brings her enthusiasm for the Spanish language
and culture. Be ready to be challenged and have fun! All course

Command Spanish
If you want
to learn Spanish for work, but have memories of struggling with
Spanish grammar in high school, then Command Spanish is for you!
The Command Spanish method utilizes a learner-friendly approach:
instead of conjugating verbs and memorizing vocabulary words,
you will learn words and phrases specific to your industry that
will help you better serve your Spanish-speaking customers,
clients, and co-workers. Become proficient en Español and
improve your job performance! No prior Spanish experience

Command Spanish: Spanish for the Medical Office
Everyone in the medical office needs to know how to
communicate important information to patients, especially in an
urgent situation. This course includes patient registration,
payment issues, taking a patient's history, determining chief
complaints, diagnosis, laboratory procedures, explaining and
performing treatments, and follow-up procedures.
