Bringing Native Plants into Your Landscape

Bring native plants into your landscape and discover how growing native plants is an economical way to have fun, increase the value of your property, and reduce the time, money and energy you will spend on landscape up-keep. Class focuses on plants native to the west slope of the Pacific Northwest that are attractive, multi-faceted, versatile, and attract birds, butterflies, and many other creatures. Instructor Nick Sky will also share his top twelve native plant picks. The day concludes with a field trip to Gardens at Padden Creek and a short guided walk on the Interurban Trail adjacent to the nursery.

Learn to create breathtaking floral arrangements with a professionally designed look for your home, office, or those special occasions on your calendar! In this fun and rewarding introductory course, you will discover the tools, tips and tricks of the trade as you learn the basics of floral design. Instructor Cheryl Jackson, owner of Courtyard Gardens in Everson, will inspire you to create beautiful arrangements. Each class session will yield take-home results. You'll leave the first class with a beautiful centerpiece with a retail value of $25! Please bring a sharp knife.
