Word 2007--Introduction |
This
introductory course will take you from struggling with Microsoft
Word to using it to the fullest! You will learn how to use this
powerful word-processing program to properly format your
document layout, fonts and paragraphs. Class covers the new
features of Word 2007, such as the Office Button, the Quick
Access ToolBar, the Ribbon, Window Frames and Galleries. Skills
such as using tabs and lists, creating and formatting tables,
proofing, saving, and printing will also be covered. Textbook
and reference materials will be provided at first session.

Are you a
Microsoft Word user who isn't taking advantage of the incredible
power of Word Styles for all of your documents? Step up to the
next level with an in-depth look at the styles and templates
features, numbering and sorting lists, creating text boxes and
pull quotes, customizing tables, controlling text flow with
columns and sections, inserting content using the Quick Parts
feature, and performing mail merges using Word, Excel, or Access
data. Textbook and reference materials will be provided at first
session.

Word 2007--Level 3 |
| Now that you
know how to make Microsoft Word work for you, you're ready to
explore its myriad advanced features. Course covers integrating
Word with Excel and PowerPoint; document collaboration such as
tracking changes and comparing documents; inserting footnotes,
endnotes, bookmarks, captions, hyperlinks, cross references, and
citations; generating a table of contents, a table of figures,
and a master document; and creating and inserting an index. You
will also learn about document security, creating forms, and
managing multiple versions of the same document. Textbook,
included in course fee, will be provided at first session.

labels, and envelopes. Learn to merge information stored in
Word, Excel, or Access; link data between programs; use
filtering and sorting features; and understand how a database

Office 2007--A First Look |
| Whether you have
Office 2007 and are ready to get started or you are trying to
decide if you want to upgrade to Office 2007, this is the class
for you! This workshop will introduce you to the different
versions of Office 2007 and its dynamic new user interface,
vastly different from previous versions. Instructor Chris Babin
will show you how to use new features such as the Ribbon, the
Microsoft Office Button, the Quick Access Toolbar, the Office
Window Frame, the Mini Toolbar, and contextual tabs. You will
also learn how to perform common tasks in each of the programs
plus how to quickly format a document by using Office Galleries,
